DESCRIPTION:The CA Roy/Floyd Walker Memorial Golf Tournament was created 14
  years ago to honor the memory of two late\, great Rotarians and friends\,
  CA Roy and Floyd Walker. Both men exemplified what it means to be a Rotar
 ian : Service Above Self.    The event is jointly presented by the Burle
 son Rotary Club and the Burleson Midday Rotary Club\, with tee times at 7:
 30am and 1:00pm. The proceeds from the event go to funding the charitable 
 giving the clubs do throughout the year\, including : Over $20k in scholar
 ships each year Giving to local charities including the Center for ASD\, H
 arvest House\, Next Step Women's Center\, Crazy 8 Ministries\, All-Star Eq
 uestrian\, Meals on Wheels of Johnson and Ellis County\, Wings of Hope\, P
 romises Ministries and many more. Giving to projects and organization thro
 ughout the world\, such as Eagle's Nest Children's Home Quetzaltenango\, G
 uatemala. Every year the Burleson Rotary Club purchases and donates dictio
 naries to every third-grader in Burleson ISD. We sponsor 4 to 6 students e
 ach year to attend RYLA\, a student leadership camp.  Find out more about
