14th Annual CA Roy/Floyd Walker Memorial

The CA Roy/Floyd Walker Memorial Golf Tournament was created 14 years ago to honor the memory of two late, great Rotarians and friends, CA Roy and Floyd Walker. Both men exemplified what it means to be a Rotarian : Service Above Self.

The event is jointly presented by the Burleson Rotary Club and the Burleson Midday Rotary Club, with tee times at 7:30am and 1:00pm. The proceeds from the event go to funding the charitable giving the clubs do throughout the year, including :

• Over $20k in scholarships each year
• Giving to local charities including the Center for ASD, Harvest House, Next Step Women's Center, Crazy 8 Ministries, All-Star Equestrian, Meals on Wheels of Johnson and Ellis County, Wings of Hope, Promises Ministries and many more.
• Giving to projects and organization throughout the world, such as Eagle's Nest Children's Home Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
• Every year the Burleson Rotary Club purchases and donates dictionaries to every third-grader in Burleson ISD.
• We sponsor 4 to 6 students each year to attend RYLA, a student leadership camp.
